Managed
Sliding Scale

For Hourly Individual Therapy & Relationship Coaching Sessions

I offer my services at a sliding scale. This comes from a desire to create multiple access points for folks called to work with me.

This system relies upon honesty, accountability, and respect for the multiple realities of economic access and privilege that exist in our communities.

I use a managed sliding scale for therapy and coaching services that has 6 distinct tiers. Each tier has a range of prices for hourly services as well as a set number of available spots. I ask my clients to commit to paying the highest affordable rate at this time, and we reassess financial sustainability at 3 month intervals.

•Tier 1 - Low Bono Services $70-100 (2 spots available)

•Tier 2 - Low Sliding Scale $101-135 (3 spots available)

•Tier 3 - Mid Sliding Scale $136-170 (3 spots available)

•Tier 4 - Upper Sliding Scale $171-199 (4 spots available)

•Tier 5 - Actual Cost of Hourly Services $200 (8 spots available)

•Tier 6 - Pay it Forward Cost $200 + donation to support Tiers 1-4

Please inquire about sliding scale availability when you reach out for services.

Questions

Frequently Asked

Are you accepting new clients?

What services do you provide?

I currently have a few openings in my practice for new individual clients or relationship systems. Reach out today to book a free consultation and see if working together is a good fit.

I have limited availability for new therapy or coaching clients, and give priority to trans and gender non conforming folks as well as individuals in the mental health field.

I do not accept insurance and these sessions are private pay.

You can inquire about availability here. To stay up to date on our services, group offerings and newly released resources, please subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on instagram.

What is your approach to therapy and healing?

I use an interdisciplinary and client-centered approach, pulling from many modalities, theories, and wellness practices. To read more about my therapeutic approach & training, click here.

What is the difference between Therapy & Coaching?

Therapy services address clinical concerns and coaching services address non-clinical issues. I offer virtual therapy services to clients who live in the states of Florida and Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

I offer individual coaching, relationship coaching, and group coaching to folks worldwide. Individual and Group Coaching services do not involve therapeutic treatment, evaluation, and diagnostic assessment. If you are looking for support with treating a mental health concern, seeking diagnostic clarity, or clinical assessment, you are seeking therapeutic services. Individual coaching and group coaching may not be a good fit for individuals who need therapy, but could supplement outside therapeutic support.

Do you accept insurance? Can I use my Out-of-Network Benefits?

What will group offerings with Dani Sullivan, LCSW look like?

Support Group offerings will serve as an opportunity to be witnessed in community and to work on your relationship with yourself and others in the context of a secure, emotionally nurturing group cohort.

You and your peers will have an opportunity to explore your intentions, needs, and expectations while challenging one another to align with the truth and communicate across divides.

Offering non-judgement, radical acceptance, and curiosity in group offerings helps to break relational cycles that keep clients stuck in fear, shame, and trauma. As we reconcile the relationship with self, our connections with others improve.

Intentions Therapy does not accept insurance at this time. All services provided by Intentions Therapy are private-pay. We can accept payment in the form of HSA/FSA cards.

If you are covered by an insurance plan, it's likely your Out-of-Network benefits will cover part or all of the cost. Reaching out to your insurance company and asking about your out-of-network benefits is a good place to start.  If you do have out-of-network benefits, I can supply you (monthly or as needed) with completed forms called "superbills" that have all the information necessary to file a claim for Out-of-Network Reimbursement yourself.

Please note: Superbills can not be provided for coaching or group services. Out-of-network reimbursement is for therapy services only and requires your provider sharing a DSM diagnosis with your insurance provider.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

I require 24 hour notice for cancellations or rescheduled appointments. This policy applies to all services, including group therapy. Without 24 hour  notice before a cancellation or rescheduled appointment, the session you booked will be billed in full.

If an individual therapy or relationship coaching client is over 15 mins late for a session without notice, it is marked as a 'no show' and billed in full.

Do you work with children, teens and adolescents?

At this time, Intentions Therapy is not accepting adolescent and teen clients. Our therapeutic offerings serve individuals over the age of 18. Please inquire if you are seeking relationship coaching for your family system, or with a parent-child relationship.

Am I a good fit for a support group?

If you are an adult who is looking to share time and space within intentional healing community, this group is for you. This group welcomes folks of all identities and lived experiences to participate.

Virtual Support groups can be helpful in connecting folks from all over the country, and provide a safe space to share your growth, learn coping strategies, and find comfort in community.

Group Facilitator, Dani Sullivan works with a particular focus serving neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients, so folks looking to grow in self-care and community within these groups are encouraged to apply.

What are your hours?

In Session Hours occur between 9am-5pm EST on weekdays (Monday-Thursday). Please note, I do not provide 24-hour crisis services. If a life-threatening crisis should occur, contact a crisis hotline, call 911, or go to a hospital emergency room.

As an individual provider who is not in a group practice, I am generally in a session during working hours and am unavailable outside of working hours.
